Tranny Saturn

I’ve often wondered how many cultures refer to the planet Earth as a woman, and how many refer to the Earth as a man. It’s strange how the patriarchal western culture refers to the planet as female. The Earth did (past tense on purpose) allow us all to live on it’s lovely crust, and essentially give birth to us all, so the term “Mother Earth” makes sense from that perspective, but why “Father Time”? What about time makes it masculine? Is it standing at the door jingling it’s keys and waiting for Mother Earth to find it’s purse so they can go get some food?

Thanks for your comment on my site, you’re obviously just as obsessed with following back web referral sources as I am. :) I hope you didn’t take my “tranny toasters” comment as an jibe… it was a veiled reference to my own (embarrasingly non-artistic) dabblings with a comic strip. :)
