When I was a wee tike, still learning to squash and stretch. I was privy to a lecture given by an old Disney animator. I wasn’t technically invited to this lecture, but was able to “gain access”. That’s how badly I wanted in.

In the span of a few hours I learned that Disney was going to fire a vast majority of it’s animation department, and was in some deep doo doo. Humbug, my dreams of having a sweatshop style animation job at Disney to fall back on were crushed, but I heard something else that was very inspiring soon after.

This time I was actually invited to attend a lecture by one of the Film Roman big wigs (Simpsons, Futurama, etc.) He indeed confirmed that Disney, and many of the major studios were in some deep doo doo, and it was up to the smaller studios, and kids like me to “reinvent” how animation is done. Damn, that felt good.

Here I am, on your internetz. Reinventing animashun. Though none of these cartoons qualify as animation, they unfold through time. This is just step one of my devious plot to move onto step two, and maybe step three! MUHAHAHA
