Possibly a nod to the great Monty Python skit, “The Spanish Inquisition”. Also a commentary on war … It bothers me a lot to know that we’re the only life form on earth actively making war on each other. Competition is one thing, and in my opinion necessary, but the complete annihilation or domination of a group is ridiculous. World domination is an impossible task, just ask the trees.

On a completely unrelated tip:
My favorite webcomic (XKCD) is updating each day this week with what looks to be the first story arc the comic has ever endured. Lets see what kind of craziness a former NASA robotics dude can come up with.
