It seems scientists have been finding new planets left and right, which is terribly exciting. It means there’s a much greater chance of finding beings that like minimalist techno as much as I do.

How much would mainstream media change if we looked at it from the perspective of future alien listeners? Our entire species could be judged by broadcasts of Amos and Andy, or (for you readers that don’t dig through pre-war record collections) Seinfeld. It’s a scary thought that someday our first response could be “Hellooooooooo, Jerry”.

If an alien race was to come down and quote seinfeld I would grab a gun and shoot myself.

I wonder what kind of citizenship test, if any, would be required of aliens from other planets. Would we go to war with their planet if someone found oil there? Would they be required to speak engilsh?!? o.O
Or would they even choose to live in the USA??
Wow I never knew I would have so many questions about aliens from other planets! weird.
