For those who’ve never dabbled in audio, an auto-tuner is an audio effect that will actually correct out of tune vocals or instruments. Therefore, one could be a terrible singer but, thanks to this handy effects box, can still sound decent. However, the further off key one sings, the more your voice will sound like a robot because the effect has to use more “effect”. You might recognize this sound if you listen to trance music, where voices are shamelessly over modulated. I personally don’t care one way or another, sound is sound, and anything can be music. I just thought the general public should know.
