The War on Censorship

I believe in a persons right to free speech. I also believe that there’s very little worth saying. Conversations seem like birds squawking, and in the end all our words mean nothing. I’ve gone though periods of talking a lot, and talking very little. Neither seemed any different to me. I’ll fight against censorship, just don’t expect me to say anything worthwhile.

    Along those lines, Mark Twain made a comment about valuing free speech and having the wisdom not to excercise it to its full extent. Somehow that idea has been lost in our post-modern world where people feel that if it can be said, then it should be said. Sorry, but there is no longer any shock value left, please shock us by keeping your mouth shut.
