I wonder what happened to all the nuclear bunker salesmen of the 50’s. Perhaps they made the transition into selling panic rooms for scared rich people. That really shows how times have changed, doesn’t it? Nowadays we’re more afraid of each other than we are of nuclear holocaust. My own thoughts on nuclear holocaust go like this, “eh, nothing I can do about it”. Yet I’m still nervous about walking a block to the gas station to buy a coke.

Why would we need a bunker if we’ve cured death? Perhaps nuclear bombs just kill us deader than dead. I would accept that. ok, run with it.
