New Chompers
It’s absurd, but I’ve been trying to find an excuse to draw a robot with a big wanky smile for some time now. Alas, I have found it!
Could you imagine going to a Job interview with Steve Jobs? I’m just gonna try to get a job from Job. Is it a coincidence that Job from the bible is also spelled the same way? Is it a coincidence that the iPhone has been called, “the jesus phone” by more than a few bloggers/reporters? I’m sensing a strange connection here… wait a second. Apple computers, the apple from genesis. Doesn’t anyone realize the vast techno-religious conspiracy of apple computers?! (Starts fashioning a tinfoil hat).

“Alas, I have found it!”
Is it too much to hope that your use of “alas” there means you’re familiar with Potter Puppet Pals?
*crosses fingers*

Potter Puppet Pals is great. Very funny, although their live shows on Youtube are crap

Actually, I hadn’t heard of them until just now. I googled their website, and they are hilarious. Thanks for the heads up on that one Jamie!

hi hi. i know i’m REALLY late on this one, but its some interesting and related background. the guy from the original apple team who came up with the name Apple was, in fact, deeply religious. He owned an island in the SF bay delta called Eden Isle and the boat to get to the island is the asp. He sold shares of it a long time back, and my grandfather (working for activision at the time) bought a share of eden isle. Its still in the family. The Asp is still around as well, but theyve added on another boat. So yeah, it is a huge religion thing.

Uh, pretty sure the usage of alas isn’t quite apt
