The Pyramids
I was a little upset over the new Seven Wonders of the World list. Mainly because the pyramids aren’t on it, but neither is Stonehenge or the statues at easter Island. At least there aren’t any modern buildings on the list, they aren’t that wonderful. Most are just plain gray rectangles to put our unimaginative bean counters in. There are a few that seem interesting, namely the buildings being built in Dubai, but they have to stand the test of time… kind of like the pyramids did!
Were any Native American wonders even considered? I guess they’d have to still be standing huh. Thanks Europe!

Camping for last weekend was canceled due to rain, so I didn’t have a chance to really hunker down and paint anything. I’ve got a few color tests, but nothing I want to show the world yet. Hopefully sometime soon I’ll try again.

Actually I was really pissed about that too. I don’t know, maybe pissed isn’t the word, more like appalled. Its crap. I had no idea they could just change them for tourisms sake. Although considering that, I don’t know why I’m surprised about that. Oh god my childhood is coming crumbling down around me!!

Pink Floyd’s “Dark Side of the Moon” should be one of the wonders in my opinion.
And the fact that every single tourist to London get’s out two biggest icons’ names wrong
(Big Ben is the bell, the clock is St. Stephen’s clocktower)
(London Bridge doesn’t move. At all. Not a bit. Tower Bride does.)
Not that hard to read a tourist guide is it?
