alright, finally a fan! How do the games compare to the resident evil games? I played the first one straight through and loved it way back when.

btw, glad to see you're updating your comic at least a little more frequently :)

I gotta say then that I was drooling over it the entire time... and then I watched it a couple more times. Then again, I played the games in the dark by myself so I'm more morbidly attached to the entire thing, even Akira Yamaoka's awesome music. But I have to say it was very well done, and the story does add up. If there were any 2-dimensional characters it was Cybil, but that more or less fits her character and *spoiler* she gets burned anyway.

Uh, yeah, the movie was total crap. When comparing it to the games, it is an abomination against God and all she stands for (lolol i made a funny) and every theatre that ever even had a ghost of a thought of showing it there should be "cleansed by fire". But that's just me.

On its own, it was still crap. The story didn't add up, the characters were barely even two-dimensional, the way it watched was ridiculous. However, the sets and monsters were excellently done; they get so many points for lack of CG. Still makes me want to rip my own eyes out, though.

The only problem I had with Silent Hill was that when there was violence it was VIOLENT. There has been so much pornographizing of violence in the past few years that I've been having a harder and harder time stomaching any violence at all. Especially after seeing images from Iraq and our detention centers. This stuff (not Silent Hill stuff, but violence in general) isn't just in movies. It's real.

And so, while Silent Hill was terrific in the thriller genre, it still made me sick to my stomach.

oh snap! Bagel, you gonna let her say that to you?

I dunno stiletto, I heard Hannibal Rising wasn't that great, from a very reliable horror connoisseur. Before you see Silent Hill ask yourself if it's worth killing an up and coming comic artist over a rental movie. This goes especially if you download it for free.

on second thought, don’t ask yourself that. It might only encourage you more.

You're right dear wifey, if Christopher Walken can do it like that, there's hope for me yet. I like how he used the butts as pear stands, which became pear cookies.
