Future Lasik Eye Surgery

Hi Leonard,
An interesting thing happened when we tested the new micron-diffraction lasers. We were running some standard tests on cyborg eye pair 119, just to make sure the lasers going out are calibrated correctly, and next thing we know the test eyes were gone. Needless to say, I told everyone in my department to look for them. We searched under every last desk thinking perhaps they’d fallen off the table, yet they were nowhere to be found.
John found something similar looking under a drying coffee mug, but those turned out to be a pair of spy cameras from our less than happy investors.
After a few hours I turned around from searching the filing cabinets and noticed the missing eye pair resting comfortably where everyone had last seen them. Had we all gone mad? Perhaps, so we ran the tests again, and as we were dialing up the different refractions they disappeared.
John quickly deduced that the new faster than light photon beams have actually been sending the test eyes into the future. An amazing discovery, something that can definitely make this company some serious money.
You may be wondering why I would send this email to perhaps the least technical person at this company, well… After some debate we decided to try the lasers out on something more than just the test. Of course I thought it should be a test animal, a rat perhaps, and John thought differently. A minor scuffle ensued, which ended with the laser being fired at yours truly.
I have seen the future Leonard. Try not to get any marks on that nice mahogany desk you currently “work” on.
Sincerely,
Bill

Hey Jeremy,
I publish a small monthly mag for my frat club and I’d like to use some of your cartoons. It’s a free mag so I can’t cut you any slice but your cartoons themselves would be kinda like publicity, right? Anyway, let me know what you think. I don’t know if you get my email trough this comment or not, but you can contact me if you do to work out some details.
Yours,
- Niels, Belgium

This is one of the funniest web cartoons I’ve read since my Last Girl Genius binge. Think I’m going to start coming by here more often.

Laser surgery is a new area of development and everyday we hear about a new type of laser created for different branches of medicine.

The key to any successful procedure is patient expectation. As long as patient expectations are reasonable, and the surgeon has properly articulated the risks, and outcomes, LASIK surgery is indeed a very good option for permanent vision correction.
