New Disney Ride
One fall day I sat at a dinner table with about half a dozen other artists and we came up with rides for an art history theme park. My favorite was the St. Sebastian Sit and Spin. I’m not sure who came up with it. I imagine our little art dork out was similar in vein to the artistic gatherings that spawned impressionism and modern art. I miss that kind of collaboration, it did wonders for my idea of identity. Perhaps some day I’ll stumble drunkenly into an abandoned warehouse only to find the secret meeting of artists I’ve been searching for.
You should check out Ross’ furniture, it’s amazing.
These are some of the other people I remember being in that group:
A-bomb
Jared and Adam
Brad
There is something special about Columbus Ohio, something about the ratio of art schoolers to football jocks. Something you don’t notice ’till you leave:

When you walk into that warehouse you’ll be staring at glowing green eyes because by that time all the artists will be radioactive… Maybe too much Sci Fi for me.

I don’t know how many people will understand the all the artgeek inuendo involved with the St. Sebastion Sit and Spin… I have tried to use that joke occasionally, only to be looked at with that “WTF is he talking about?” face that i have come to know so well.

Yes, it’s a familiar face. I can no longer quote twin peaks to anyone but my wife, it’s sad really. I’ve resigned to trying to tell the story as to why it might have been funny one day to shout “Tuesday 9pm!” but that doesn’t work either.
BAH
Guess I’ll just have to make a movie about it or something.

I don’t know what it means and I am an artgeek by injection
