Those MacBooks are pretty hot, watch out, she might suspect you've got a "thing" for it. Mine's got a dell so she never has to worry about any torrid affairs with it. Even hotter are those alienwares but damn are they expensive, if you're going for a laptop then that's cool, but I just found out you can save close to six grand if you build a workstation yourself. If you're into 3d animation watch out for the SLI systems, they say they're good, but they don't offer any more speed than a good single graphics card. Apparently they're more for gaming.
