I’m willing to bet the majority of my readers are at work when they read this cartoon strip. If you’re at work reading this, then you are not doing your “work” work.

According to google the average time that people viewed my website was 1:46. For the sake of people not good at math (me) I’m going to round this up to two.

For the sake of this exercise I’m going to assume that everyone makes the New York state minimum wage. I seriously hope that none of you do. Anyway, this works out to 12 cents a minute.

Also according to google I had 43,000 visitors last month. Supposing the average visit was 2 minutes, and they make 24 cents in that time period I have cost the corporations of the united states: $10,320 for the month of October.

This is providing that everyone lived in New York, viewed this website at work, and is employed. None of this would hold up in court, or the scrutiny of XKCD fans.

It only costs me $20 dollars a month in hosting fees to waste $10,320. Beat that!

Wow I never knew that it cost so much to host a website. I could think of many other things I could spend $240 on. Thank you for doing it though!!!!!

Where would I be without WTTF daily?!? shhh.. it was a rhetorical question!

Also I am thrilled to see that you now have a little bookmark icon.

Humans aren’t going to survive global warming, as our magnetic field is ready to flip around, which while good for the long-term existence of life, it does mean we’re all going to get multiple tumors, and all become infertile. On the plus side, great comic as always!
