Though I’m not a drug user, I’ve played enough raves, and hung around enough pot heads to know they’re harmless. It’s not the drugs that cause people to be insane, they were that way to begin with. Unless you’re talking Glass, or PCP, or any of the hard stuff, that shit will fuck you up.

I’ve known several pot heads myself and yeah they are harmless (unless they’re behind the wheel), even if they wanted to commit an act of violence they would get to distracted by shiny objects and then want to kibitz about the state of things. Either way, the reason pot isn’t legalized is because it would be extremely hard for the government to make money off of it and to tax it, like we do with cigarettes

I remember hearing that the original reason for banning pot had to do with hemp rope or something. It’s lovely how the reasons given for a law are rarely the actual… reasons.
I’ve used pot, occasionally, and all we do is have fun. No harm in that, I should imagine. Well, except for the fact that it’s smoking but that’s a moot point as long as cigarettes and beer aren’t banned.

Dominic, pot wasnt banned because of Hemp. The plant you make Hemp out of it banned becuase it is a close cousin to pot.
