I cheated. I went with Zyban. I took it for 7 days, on day 7 I had no inclination to smoke. I looked at the ciagrette in my hand that I’d just lit and tossed it out the car window. (Yeah yeah.) That was the last time I smoked. August ‘02
I gotta say, I still don’t feel like a non-smoker. I just feel like a smoker who is between cigarettes.

I imagine it being a lot like alcoholism, once a smoker, always a smoker. So I guess that makes you a recovering smoker?
I don’t know these things, I’ve never been a smoker. I tried once and got a horrible eye infection. I think the tubes in my head are wired funny.

I quit almost two years ago and I feel like a non-smoker. It’s all in the mind set of not wanting to die.

I fixed the link for you Christy. That was a great article, I’m glad I could add some visual flavor to your writing.

Seriously? I thought it felt kinda weird in my eye, but I figured that’s what the filter was for…
