Oh, how I hope that this’ll become reality someday. You know, when everyone starts actually caring about their home planet and refuse to rape it by burning it up.
I don’t drive. I prefer to eject CO2 emissions directly into the atmosphere through a reverse vaccum. Not sure why! It doesn’t seem to get me anywhere.
Huh, you read some of my favourite comics; xkcd, Questionable Content, SMBC.
I do minimal driving since I live within biking/walking distance from work, I however cannot walk along the highway to school without getting picked up by the cops so I am forced to drive there. Unfortunately with an unreliable source of public transportation people are forced to drive. Thats why I don’t think we should be on our high horse.
“Do you drive a car yourself there winfried?”
I don’t plan on driving ’till they actually start producing those cars that are propelled by compressed air, and not just showing them to the public every now and then for novelty points.
I don’t need to drive (yet) school is 12 km away, work 3 km and rain doesn’t bug me that much. Also, trains.
But burning oil isn’t all that bad. It’s just that we as a species do way more of it than our planet can handle. Modesty is a virtue long forgotten, I’m afraid.
